A Feminist Reader: Hannah Wilke

Site-specific installation at the Danish Art Library including a letter to Peter Brandt, books, magazine, catalogues, an interview and the artworks “vagina”(chewing gum) and “Gestures” (video) by Hannah Wilke as well as “Brain” (clay) and “Comrades” (photos) by Peter Brandt.

A conversation between Peter Brandt, Selini Halvadaki and Annarosa Krøyer Holm made by Selini Halvadaki and Annarosa Krøyer Holm. The conversation is centred around Brandts personal archive on Hannah Wilke and reflects on artistic work, role models and historical origins, clarifying Brandts special kinship with Wilke.

Thank you to The Moderna Museet for lending us “Gestures” by Hannah Wilke and to Elisabeth Delin Hansen for lending us vagina chewing gum sculpture by Hannah Wilke.
