Time is What Keeps Everything from Happening at Once

Video essay departing from two photographs found in the private album of the artist. The first photograph depict a house on the island of Crete in Greece were the artist's father was born. The second photograph is taken from inside the same house and depicts the surrounding landscape as it looked 60 years ago. Two positions gazing towards each other. We follow the artist as she travels first to Athens and then to Crete in search of the house. The work investigates the relation between image, place and identity at the intersection of personal and collective experience.
